Welcome to Penrosa Setters, home of National Bird Hunters Association 2012 Hall of Fame inductee Ch. Trail Boss Grover.

We started hunting and breeding setters in 1971, and started field trialing our setters in 1986. We won our first championship in 1993 with our setter Ch. Trail Boss Grover, whose pedigree consists of Ch. Jetrain and Ch. Tomoka, some of the great setters of the past.

Rare opportunity with the breeding of Ch Trail Boss Grover X Penrosa Forbidden Eve.

We had collected semen from Ch. Trail Boss Grover in 1993 and when Penrosa Forbidden Eve came into season this year we elected to use the last two straws of frozen semen of 31 years, from Ch Trail Boss Grover. Eve had five beautiful pups; this will be the last of Ch Trail Boss Grover pups.

These are exceptional pups with the history of becoming great performers.
